Raviten ®
10 % solution for acute hypotension
Raviten® is a 10% sterile solution used to overcome episodes of hypotension causing vasoconstriction followed by normalization of blood pressure. Raviten is highly differentiated by its fast-acting ability to normalize and stabilize blood pressure and by its lasting effect.
Indication: emergency resuscitation vassopressor drug used for the treatment of acute hypotension conditions that occur during surgeries, and as a result of trauma, hemorrhage and poisoning.
Raviten® is also intended for Emergency medical services in civil (ambulances) and military settings (battlefield). Both in ambulances and in the army fix drug stocks levels need to be maintained.

Clinical Trials
Significant clinical experience gained in the leading medical centers in Moldova shows that Raviten® is safe and highly effective in stabilizing blood pressure, producing a stable and lasting effect. The studies conducted demonstrated that Raviten® stabilized blood pressure for a prolonged period of time with no “overshoot” to dangerous levels.
Raviten® proved to have relevant clinical benefits in fluid management for patients undergoing open heart and major vascular surgeries.
Market
Raviten®, the Company's unique vassopressing drug falls into the category of the cardiovascular drug market, one of the largest and fastest growing market segments of the target markets. Barkan-Farma commercializes Raviten® in Moldova where the drug is already registered and has marketing approval.
The company will gradually expand Raviten® sales to the six main countries Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Kazahstan and Uzbekistan. Geographical expansion will continue in additional countries of the rapidly growing, developing markets of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia regions.

Estimated distribution price per vial is US$ 5, or US$ 25 per a pack of 5.

It is assumed that 2 vials of Raviten® may be used during each surgery, emergency care for trauma and poisoning cases, epidural procedure for labor and delivery. Estimated numbers of surgeries, trauma, poisoning care and epidural procedures are based on known[1] and projected numbers of surgeries in governmental and private hospitals, same-day surgeries in outpatient clinics and private establishments. It is further assumed that each ambulance, paramedic and physician will have 1 pack of 5 vials of Raviten in stock for potential use.
